Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
These terms explain the deal between you and FastHands Inc. ("FastHands") — in plain English, no games. By using FastHands, you agree to them.
Job agreements
When you hire a contractor through FastHands, you and the contractor enter a digital agreement that spells out the work, the price, and the timeline. That agreement is between the two of you.
FastHands provides the platform, the verification, and the protections around the job. We are not the contractor and we do not perform the work ourselves.
Our fee
FastHands is free for homeowners. Contractors pay a fee of at most 15% of the job total, charged when the contract is signed — so a contractor keeps at least 85% of every job.
No monthly fees. No lead fees. No charge for quotes that do not become contracts.
Job disputes
If something goes wrong with a job, flag it in the app and we will look into it. We review the signed agreement, the chat history, and the photo proof.
What we can do is act on the account. A contractor who breaks their agreement can be suspended or removed from FastHands, and anything involving a contractor licence can be referred to the CSLB, which is the state regulator. We never hold your money at any point, so we cannot refund you and we cannot order either side to pay the other. We are not an arbitrator, and this is not arbitration.
What you keep is the record: the agreement you both signed before work started, the timestamped photos of the finished work, and the chat history, which neither side can edit. That record is yours to use, including in court. Nothing in these terms limits any legal right you have against a contractor.
Using FastHands fairly
Do not use FastHands to post fake jobs, harass people, take payment off-platform to dodge our fee, or break the law. Contractors must hold the licenses their work legally requires.
We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the platform or put others at risk.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as FastHands grows. If we make a meaningful change, we will let you know. Continuing to use FastHands means you accept the current version.
